Remote work and hybrid work models are here to stay, but they create challenges. When employees work from home on personal computers, IT loses visibility and control. Data lives on personal devices outside the corporate network. Support becomes harder when you can't see what's happening on users' machines. Virtual desktop infrastructure addresses these challenges by moving desktop environments to data centers. Employees see a traditional desktop experience, but it's running on corporate servers accessed through their device.
